歐洲著名護膚品牌,最初以身體護理品著稱,其生產的豐胸,瘦身產品兼完美地平衡了安全及有效性,可謂是功能性化妝品的第一品牌,非常值得信賴.
嬌韻詩成立於1954年，創辦人Clarins先生(Mr. Jacques COURTIN CLARINS)原本想當醫生，但因為第二次世界大戰爆發，他中斷了醫學院的課業，一直到戰爭結束後他才成為專門診治脊椎病痛的醫生。由於他的病人以女性為主，嬌韻詩發現除了身體病痛之外，大部分女病人都很不滿意自己肌膚狀況，當時專業的護膚研究非常少，而克蘭詩先生本身對植物精華的美容療效非常感興趣，他乾脆在1954年在法國巴黎成立第一家美妍身體護膚中心(Clarins Beauty Institute)，深入研究植物精華的功效以及「健康按摩手法」。

Clarins商品一向以植物性成分為主要訴求，到了70年代初期，Clarins獨創的美容護膚方法已經聲名遠播，當時含化學化工成分的保養商品迅速崛起，以天然成分為主的保養品被視為過時的代表，但Clarins先生仍然堅持理念，繼續堅持其「絕對天然」的品牌宗旨，一直到今天其產品都還是採用純正植物精華製造、產品研發是以植物性成分為主要訴求，事實上其研發的第一瓶產品正是「植物精油」。所有產品的研發必定是以植物性精華為主要有效成分。在發給顧客的護膚美容手冊也清楚寫出每一項產品所含的植物性成分，以及該成分的運用。

在顧客要求下他逐漸將只在護膚中心內使用的保養品，大量生產在部分美容院和百貨公司銷售，從此Clarins走向國際品牌的康莊大道！臉部及身體系列的保養品，尤其是著名的美體系列保養品，一直是Clarins最完整的主力產品。Clarins特別強調正確美容知識的傳承，尤其重視站在第一線、為客戶的服務的專業美容顧問。在巴黎總公司的美容訓練部門是編制最大、人數最多的部門。講求實用、價格定位也相當平實，Clarins產品不以立即有效或奇蹟效果為訴求，而是靠植物性的溫和功效，讓保養日漸有效。

Clarins在1980年成為法國第一名的護膚保養品牌，1981年在在美國成立第一家海外分公司，目前營銷全世界一百多個國家。1986年引進台灣市場，同時不斷擴展新產品線、1995年併購了法國PARFAC香水集團，目前產品線已包含彩妝、香水、甚至是男仕專用的保養品，逐步成為國際性的美容集團。
